Privacy Policy
Traderizz (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates traderizz.com and the Traderizz trading journal application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Traderizz, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide and limited technical data needed to run the service.
- Account information from Google sign-in: name, email address, and profile picture as shared by Google.
- Journal content you create: trade logs, R-multiples, tags, notes, journal names, rules, and related metadata.
- App preferences you save, such as Jarvis voice settings.
- Session data: an httpOnly authentication cookie (tj_session) that keeps you signed in.
- Basic technical logs from our hosting provider (e.g. IP address, browser type, request timestamps) for security and reliability.
How we use information
We use your information only to operate and improve Traderizz:
- Authenticate you and maintain your private workspace.
- Store and display your journals, analytics, and diary data back to you.
- Provide features such as tag filtering, CSV import, and Jarvis assistant responses based on your journal data.
- Protect the service against abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Fix bugs and improve performance.
What we do not do
Your trading data is private to your account. We do not:
- Sell your personal information or journal data.
- Publish your trades, journals, or analytics to search engines or other users.
- Use your journal content for advertising profiles.
- Share your data with third parties for their independent marketing.
Storage and security
Journal and account data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database accessible only through authenticated application APIs.
Session tokens are stored in an httpOnly cookie and validated server-side. App routes such as /dashboard and /journal are marked noindex and disallowed in robots.txt so private workspaces are not intended for public indexing.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We use reasonable safeguards, but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party services
Traderizz relies on trusted providers to deliver the product. These may process limited data on our behalf:
- Google OAuth — for sign-in. Google’s privacy policy governs data handled during authentication.
- Cloud hosting (e.g. Vercel) — to serve the website and API.
- Database hosting — to persist your account and journal data.
- Browser speech APIs — Jarvis may use your device’s text-to-speech engine; voice processing stays on your device where supported.
Data retention
We retain your account and journal data while your account is active so you can access your history and analytics.
If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate security purposes.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can:
- Sign out at any time to end your session.
- Clear cookies and local storage in your browser.
- Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of account data.
- Stop using the service if you do not agree with this policy.
Children
Traderizz is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Traderizz after updates means you accept the revised policy.
